A few more wintery views of Central Park from 2008.
The left picture below shows the Eldorado, one of the famous Art Deco buildings that borders the park on the Upper West Side. Erected between 1929 and 1931, this impressive apartment building, easily reconizable by its double tower design, has been home to many celebrities over the years including Marilyn Monroe, Faye Dunaway, Michael J. Fox, Bruce Willis, Alec Baldwin, and many others.

Snowy views of Central Park to balance the mild temperatures some of us are experiencing in parts of Europe this Christmas. Central Park is a winter wonderland and the many skyscrapers that surround this unique piece of urban nature only enhance the scenery.

Granted, pigeons are generally boring and not too glamorous, but like most other birds, they look amusing when fluffed, and to their credit, always make great and easy-to-find posers!
The rosy one is particularly competent, a large fluffy ball. Considering that this afternoon was not particularly cold, I believe they can do better!
